Women Working for Oceans is dedicated to educating people about the challenges facing our oceans and inspiring them to take action.
Joining W2O shows your care and concern for our great blue planet and allows you to join forces with other members to become part of the solution. W2O members are invited to curated outings that combine knowledge from world renowned scientists in intimate settings with unique experiences. We have shared sustainable seafood together with some of Boston’s celebrity chefs and joined in outings along the New England coastline for restoration work and exploration. Memberships allow us to support experts in the field of ocean conservation and host public events that support our education, advocacy and outreach. W2O connects you to important legislation that will help protect the oceans. Together we rally to testify on the hill, meet with legislators, write letters and make phone calls all to support ocean related issues. W2O women have a strong voice, a voice that has enabled us to help pass both local and national legislation.
