Tips for a plastic free kitchen:
- Instead of grabbing the plastic wrap, invert a bowl over that marinading chicken, half of lemon or an awaiting salad.
- Use reusable covers
- Purchase a set of oven/freezer safe glass dishes with covers for storage and cooking
- Wrap lettuce and vegetables in a damp tea towel for storage in the fridge
- Sturdy jars, reusable plates, stainless steel or paper straws and flea market cutlery are wonderful items for picnics or travel.
